ratnasty Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 hello everyone I have started a Pro Stock for a online challenge and here are some pics so far thanks Chuck
Dragline Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 WOAH! That is killer! The paint looks superb. Great execution of a tough scheme. Who made the decals? This is one I'll be watching. Bob
Marc @ MPC Motorsports Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 (edited) Be still my heart!!! You are BUILDING a mint MPC 1971 Cuda kit!!! Beautiful work on the decals. Can't wait to see it finished. Are you using the "metal axle" chassis and if not, what are you using? Old models are meant to be built, then they can gather dust. BTW...I just got a mint, unbuilt '71 just like that one. I have two builders but just had to have a "new" one. It too, will get built. Edited February 24, 2010 by Marc @ MPC Motorsports
Smart-Resins Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 Now that is kicken! I really like that. Where did ya find the decals? That would be another fine car that would be nice to see on the pages of trackburner! Jody

Modelmartin Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 Cool model of a very pretty car. MPC made those decals! I have a partial set in my decal hoard.
ratnasty Posted February 24, 2010 Author Posted February 24, 2010 Ok here the low down on the decals. I have the original and a set of billy goochee and another set from Billy with out the striping. I scanned the originals into the computer and reprinted them on my inkjet on white decal paper. I then carefully cut them out leaving a white pin stripe around it.I grab Billys decals with out the striping and inlayed the Plymouth and Don Grotheer's name because they were done in gold foil. The hood roof and deck lid were all done with paint. top pic is kit decal middle is goochee decals bottom is goochee decals without stripes I hope this helps out Chuck
