Nick Winter Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 just as I would exspect from this site lately, people dumping on other people, then when somone comes along and deceides to help, they get a figgin' slap in the face, I'm done with this friggin' site aswell, but I'm done, done, and one day before my 1 year aniversary of joining, thanks guys, I'm going back to my site, good bye and so long.

Is it lonely over there @ your new Message board? or do the dozen or so of you over there all get along, all the time? No offense, but i don't really care what you do or what your answer to that question is, simply because it won't affect me at all. I also don't care If you take that the wrong way, simply because I have failed to invent the sarcasm font yet. But in all seriousness, I can understand why the OP doesn't want to devuldge any more info (without knowing anything about what's going on). I'm betting that he's hoping that everything would work out. I also can see the point of other posts asking for more info, so that they may avoid similar situations. I can see both sides. To me, it seems quite comical. I really, Really, REALLY think a lot of us need to get Away & do something. Get away from the computer. Go see a movie. Step away for 2-3 days & refresh. this season ALWAYS seems to bring out the Grumpiest , Ill mannered, inconsiderate and generally mean attitudes in almost everyone. One little thing sets off someone to the point where they just snap & take it out on whomever is near by. It's like being the victim of a suicide bomber, only with words instead of explosives, that don't actually injure anyone, just cause polarization on the subject that just got "bombed"... It separates and divides us all into "groups". When I last checked, we were all part of this group of "model car builders". Differences aside, why can't we just all try to be supportive of each other, instead of bashing in each other's heads with unnessescary Garbage. It's horrible. & pretty childish. so, you guys can threaten us by taking your balls & running for home, or you can threaten us with staying here. At the end of the day, it's still the internet and it will still be here tomorrow. Whether or not you are is, well, up to you. Actually it's great with the low number of members there's been no truoble just people building models and talking about them. I entirely agree with you Mike, I want it to end, that's the reason why I'm leaving for a while. besides I'm not taking my Balls anywhere, I'm just leaving for a while to persue diffrent things. I don't know what kevin has to say nor do I care, I just think that people should just quit trying to scratch each others eyes out with words. anyway Have a nice day, and I found a ford 9 inch lastnight, might have a chevy 12 bolt and dana 60 around here If I really look hard.

modelercarl Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 I am amazed at how this site has deteriorated in the past couple of months..... we should have a tutorial on building sandboxes like I used to play in when I was 4-5 years old for some of the posters on here. You aren't going to trade anymore... fine, that's your decision to make, nobody else is interested as there will be somebody else to trade with. You going to post a turorial on leather interiors...post the tutorial and forget the stupid act. The idiot start to threads like these only give all the other childish minds an opening to demonstrate their ignorance and destroy the value that some of us joined this site for. You have a question on assembling, painting, detailing or displaying your model..... post it. You have advice on assembling, painting, detailing or displaying your model.... post it. You have a kit review, show announcement, or something else useful to the adults posting on this site... let us know. I have sometimes heard the bad rap "small minds building small models"..... those people must have visited this site at one time.

I 100% agree With you Carl, I would LOVE to see this site go back to building/ talking/ and displaying models, it would be the nicest thing to see.
