Corvette.Jeff Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 When you mix a old 3/4 ton dodge, 2 days of rain, mud, no power steering, manual brakes, and an inexperienced driver??? You give up? You get stuck!
Lownslow Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 lol id be embarrassed to get stuck in such a easy to get out of problem
Corvette.Jeff Posted March 6, 2010 Author Posted March 6, 2010 lol id be embarrassed to get stuck in such a easy to get out of problem Not as easy as youd think, there was about four inches of mud and water in that ditch(its about a foot deep where my back tire is) my bumper got caught up on the road, and i didnt have any weight in the back. Also, since this is just my work truck, i dont have posi. not so easy now eh?
JamesW Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 Weight in the back would have just made it worse, since your bumper was already caught on the road.
JamesW Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 Probably because the left rear wheel is sitting higher because it's on a hill.
Guest Mustang3.8 Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 Holy smokes! What kinda damage did you do to it?
Corvette.Jeff Posted March 6, 2010 Author Posted March 6, 2010 looks like the axle is broke Nah, just lousy shocks/springs
Corvette.Jeff Posted March 6, 2010 Author Posted March 6, 2010 Why is the back wheel off on an angle like that? Well i was goin through the drainage ditch(for the rain) i started going at an angle so i wouldnt get caught up(lot of help that did!) and when it did catch the drivers rear was still up higher than the passenger rear.
Corvette.Jeff Posted March 6, 2010 Author Posted March 6, 2010 Probably because the left rear wheel is sitting higher because it's on a hill. Give me a minute and ill upload a picture of the drivers side, im having to upload them from my iphone to my myspace, then from my myspace to my photobucket
Corvette.Jeff Posted March 6, 2010 Author Posted March 6, 2010 Holy smokes! What kinda damage did you do to it? Nothing that I know of, and if i did do something to the rear it just gives me an excuse ot lower it all around and slip a posi up in there
Corvette.Jeff Posted March 6, 2010 Author Posted March 6, 2010 heres the other side. Can you say camber??
JamesW Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 Yeah, I would say your rear springs and shocks are junk. Either that or the front is EXTREMELY stiff.
