DanielG Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 When I used to work more in plastic I made some 'filler' with sprue added to part of a bottle of liquid glue (Tamiya, as it happened). The goop that resulted of course bonded perfectly with the plastic and was pretty much the same hardness as the plastic so it sanded well. Add the amount of sprue to obtain the desired thickness of the goop. Not my idea and has been around for quite some time but some may not have tried it.
disabled modeler Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 Hi Daniel, Thats a good idea, I have done that for years to make small parts and on some repairs to bodies....with some practice it works quite well.
