ratnasty Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 Hello I have started another project instead of finishing some LOL . I got the body from Ron at RMR Resin and I think it si going to come out pretty cool . Here are a few pics so far. thanks Chuck
caine440 Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 (edited) Wow! I have the same resin body and have been work my tail off on it for weeks trying to get it into shape. How does you front grille and head lights fit? And do you have any thoughts on the tail lights? It is awesome to see someone else working on one of these. What paint are you going with? Being me I am doing a Sox & Martin car. Here is a photo of the car before I started. Please keep us posted! Edited March 10, 2010 by caine440
cruz Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 I love these little antique tuner bodies, always a lot of possibilities to do something special and unique. I did an old pro stock corolla using a Baretta pro stock chassis about 6 years ago!! Hosted on Fotki I am planning on purchasing one of these and even going as far as putting a Rotary engine in it, saw a lot of them in Puerto Rico when I was growing up!! Good luck with this one and keep us posted please!!!
Mooneyzs Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 Very Cool!! This is going to be a nice build for sure. Love that it is a different style of drag car. Can't wait to see the progress on this kit.
RodneyBad Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Some Great looking Colts I had one for a while. If your off to a great start. Can't wait to see yours finished.
Lancer Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Looking good, I have one of these bodies also. I plan to make the Rod Shop red car, but haven't decided what chassis to use. I will be following this build for sure. Lance
Bowtienutz Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Is it actually 1/25 scale or just a repop of the japenese kit ?
