Land Rover 109" LWB Camel Trophy

Hello,

This is a Land Rover 109'' lwb from Italeri (can anyone please tell me is it series 2 or 3?). I got lucky to find this kit because I always wanted to have a camel trophy theme among my completed models. The model was sprayed with tamiya camel yellow and I made the decals myself, but the rest of them is oob.

i think that rack did come with the land rover i built. thats real sweet looking, ready to charge off to the outback eh? bright yellow makes them easy to spot from the air!

Very nice build, but the door tops should be painted in body colour and not aluminium

Looks good!!! One time I made too one of the Camel Trophy Lands. But I used a BBurago diecast to reproduce a Land that a friend of mine used during the CT...

Depend where the Camel Trophy was made that year, but the roof rack are bigger, and the y ad gas can in the front...
