Those look like the later Lightning wheels, which I don't think I've ever seen in scale. The Revell '99 Lightning kit has different wheels in it.

That is a great looking trunk. Is that a combo of the Ranger with the Lightning engine? The color looks pretty close to Tamiya TS-50 Mica Blue.

I think this was a concept that they did. Its the only truck that I have been able to find.

I think I might go with GTS Blue on it.

Clay, the rims on the AMT '39 Wagon Rod look pretty close to those from the pic.. 'course my eyes aint what they were.

I got the Lightning in the mail today, just waiting on the ranger now. I will try to get the engine done soon.

Sorry to keep you guys waiting, I got the Ranger in today. I would like to try to make it an extended cab with another parts truck. any help would be greatly appreciated. I may do another kit to get back into it...

That looks a lot like a Ranger I almost baught now. It was called a "Thunderbolt".

It was just mild mods to the exterior and interior....but yours should be so much better with using Lightning

parts instead !!
