Brizio Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 Yesterday I started a Jeep finally!!! Some of you remember it, it was the background for a 1991 Grand Wagoneer in 1/64, with a "before" sign on it. It is always a die-cast Majorette in 1/64... This time I will not put the "wood" panels on it... I don't have a real idea on what to do on it... So will see... For now it is in a jar with paint stripper... This is the Jeep, a SJ Cherokee...
jeffs396 Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 Those are neat! One of the few scale Jeeps I don't have...how about a "monster" Jeep???

Nick Winter Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 I've got a box with about 4 or 5 of these in them.

Brizio Posted March 19, 2010 Author Posted March 19, 2010 Made some progress... I'm remaking all the interior from scratch except the dashboard, I will modified one from a Jeep Commander. Almost completed the steering wheels, need to add the levers. Those are the new seats for it, the style it is like on the early Wagoneer. And now the seats done. I changed different time my mind on the seat color... And a the end I prefer this... Add also seatbelt....
Brizio Posted March 19, 2010 Author Posted March 19, 2010 Those seats look sharp! Great so far. Thank you! Maybe today I can finish the interior, so more pics are coming!
Brizio Posted March 19, 2010 Author Posted March 19, 2010 The AMC 360... Still need intake, headers, etc.... But it has a TCase!

goldfinger Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 After the bath in the jar with paint stripper... This is awesome. When my son was newborn I bought a lot of matchbox hotwheels etc in advance and I remember being quite excited to find the Wagoneer and FJ. I just found them yesterday in a box of old toys and now I can see that I have to do something with them.
Wagoneer81 Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 This is smaller than the scale I normally build in but for some reason, it has my undivided attention... My daily driver is an '81 Wagoneer and I have frinds who own an '81 and '83 Cherokee like what you are working on. they are by far my favorite vehicle type. It's looking really good and I'm looking forward to seeing more of this!

Brizio Posted April 13, 2010 Author Posted April 13, 2010 Changed interiors color... This could be stupid, but I didn't had enough orange color, that it is not orange it is kind of bronze, for the outside, so I looked for a "normal" orange, but I wasent' convinced... So greeeeeeeen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Looks no to bad... Thee doors need glasses. Changed interiors color...
