Kostas Parchas Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 Hello Paul B, This rig is amazing it self and the load takes it a level higher!!! I would like to ask you about the trailer's coupling, is it a single axle dolley with a fifth wheel or it is a turntable??? If it is a turntable could you please share with us some pictures of it? Looking forward, Kostas.
Wagoneer81 Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 That is VERY NICE!! I like it!!! It's an interesting subject and a very well executed, very clean build. Two thumbs up!!!

Paul B Posted May 19, 2010 Author Posted May 19, 2010 Hello Paul B, This rig is amazing it self and the load takes it a level higher!!! Looking forward, Kostas. Thanks Kostas. The pup has a turntable on the front axle. Due to the small clearance between the front suspension and the bottom of the trailer, not a lot of detail is required here. The front suspension is attached to the bottom of a plasic plate with a hole in it, that would allow for the passage of air lines. Another plate of the same size with hole is attached to the bottom of the trailer frame. I then made a round disc with a hole in the middle, same size as the other holes. The holes are then held together by a small strip of C channel. The picture bellow shows a turntable for another project but gives the general idea. I hope this helps.
Kostas Parchas Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 Thumbs up Paul, It is very clear, thanks you a lot for the tip. Kostas.
ARTEMIS1759 Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 That is a sweet truck. Still admiring the logger on the back of the desk every picture I see of your work table. My dad has 1 of 3 left that were built that he had plus he lost one from a storm that was still in a box. He used real logs for it.
