67 Chevelle experts . . .

I'm planning to recreate a 67 Chevelle SS that my buddy had. The problem is that I haven't seen it for 40 yrs and the ole memory isn't razor-sharp anymore. It was a cream / ivory color w/ black vinyl top. It was a bench seat car and the former owner says the interior was "gold". What was available in 67? Could it be more like a "wheat" interior or was it a true "gold". Any help much appreciated!
