I built this one out of the box, a kit if memory serves by GHQ. It is 'N' scale, that is 1/160. I decided to build it in one my many moments of insanity, probably only because it is a metal kit.

Sounds like a moment of insanity I had! I bought a "N" scale mid 90s Ford tow truck that is not much bigger than my fingernail!

Have you built it yet? Any pics?

Not yet, but I did prime it gray. I'll get a pic or two of it here for you in a little while!

Actually, there are worse kits, 'Z' scale photo-etch kits. I have never tried any and can only imagine the nightmare!

Sorry, Daniel, but here's some pics of my N scale Ford F350 tow truck. It's from GHQ. I sat it on the top of one of Testor's small paint bottles (1/4 oz jar I think) to give eberyone an idea how small this truck is!

The boom assembly and front push bumper:

You think those are tiny, you should see the levers for the controls! They're about as big as the capital I in this sentence! The whole kit fits in a sandwich bag.

Good grief, wear a mask, you don't want to inhale any of those parts! Looking good so far.

Thanks, and other than a mask, I need my Opti-visor just to see it!!
