DanielG Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 I built this one out of the box, a kit if memory serves by GHQ. It is 'N' scale, that is 1/160. I decided to build it in one my many moments of insanity, probably only because it is a metal kit.

highway Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 Have you built it yet? Any pics? Not yet, but I did prime it gray. I'll get a pic or two of it here for you in a little while!
chuckyr Posted March 25, 2010 Posted March 25, 2010 Talk about insane! This guy built this "N" scale rig and was going to offer them as kits. Never happened.
DanielG Posted March 26, 2010 Author Posted March 26, 2010 Actually, there are worse kits, 'Z' scale photo-etch kits. I have never tried any and can only imagine the nightmare!
highway Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Sorry, Daniel, but here's some pics of my N scale Ford F350 tow truck. It's from GHQ. I sat it on the top of one of Testor's small paint bottles (1/4 oz jar I think) to give eberyone an idea how small this truck is! The boom assembly and front push bumper: You think those are tiny, you should see the levers for the controls! They're about as big as the capital I in this sentence! The whole kit fits in a sandwich bag.
DanielG Posted March 28, 2010 Author Posted March 28, 2010 Good grief, wear a mask, you don't want to inhale any of those parts! Looking good so far.
