Brizio Posted March 31, 2010 Posted March 31, 2010 I had this kit from a while, and probably it is time to build it... I think it is also a reissue. Some parts are not very nice, look a the interior... Will see what happen...
jedimastergary Posted March 31, 2010 Posted March 31, 2010 I had one I was going to build I had got a Hemi, Racing seats and custom wheels sadly it was one of the models that got lost when I moved.
Brizio Posted March 31, 2010 Author Posted March 31, 2010 I had one I was going to build I had got a Hemi, Racing seats and custom wheels sadly it was one of the models that got lost when I moved. Sad! This one had a 426, but I used it in another car. So I don't know which engine put on it.
Fletch Posted March 31, 2010 Posted March 31, 2010 I think I've seen somewhere another build called the Hampster that would be a good choice for an engine
jedimastergary Posted March 31, 2010 Posted March 31, 2010 cool will have to look for this kit the one I had had a 440 that had some problems with parts fit that was why I had a Hemi, Also at that time all my Dodge and Plymouth models had the Hemi. Will be watching this one to see it done as it has made we want to build the kit the way I was going to build my lost one.
Brizio Posted March 31, 2010 Author Posted March 31, 2010 I think I've seen somewhere another build called the Hampster that would be a good choice for an engine I don't know if the PETA would allowed me to build another one using a hamster... :D since you are a "dare to be different" kinda builder, i say swap a slant 6 into that thing with a turbo or two. Dave Could be an idea... A slant 6 or 8... Need to find a engine soo then...
MyBradKeselowski Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 (edited) Is this one the reissue that's molded in red? Edited April 1, 2010 by kaseykahne09
RodneyBad Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 I think I've seen somewhere another build called the Hampster that would be a good choice for an engine I soo wanted to see that last weekend too. I missed it? The AMT Dodge D-50 has a Turbo'd 4 cylinder
Brizio Posted April 1, 2010 Author Posted April 1, 2010 Is this one the reissue that's molded in red? I think so, because it is printed 2005... I soo wanted to see that last weekend too. I missed it? The AMT Dodge D-50 has a Turbo'd 4 cylinder I didn't brought it...
Brizio Posted April 2, 2010 Author Posted April 2, 2010 Some little progress before the week end... The engine it is almost done...
Brizio Posted April 2, 2010 Author Posted April 2, 2010 This engine is for a Daytona??? I'm not building the Daytona version, but the basic Charger. And the engine is for it.
Brizio Posted April 3, 2010 Author Posted April 3, 2010 Sweet looking Engine.' What is it?? Looks Real Thank you! I try to replicate one of the last Isotta Fraschini engine.
RodneyBad Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 WOW!! That is really gonna be Waaaaaaaaaay out there. I love it.
Brizio Posted April 9, 2010 Author Posted April 9, 2010 Back to the model, made a little little progress... I was looking for some wheels around 1,2in or 3cm but couldn't find it, so I decide to make my own wheels... Here what I did today... I think It could be a good "frame" for a wheel... Soon some progress...
Brizio Posted April 15, 2010 Author Posted April 15, 2010 I started to cut the body, front end, rear end, windshield, little chopped the roof... I changed the windshield with another one probably from a car from the 40's... I don't know, it was light blue, with a "V" shape. Now I have this...
RodneyBad Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 That is a really different take on the Charger. Wicked can't wait to see where this goes.
