Gregg Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 I just went through some major updates and upgrades on the eModelCars web site. I will be posting about 200+ sealed kits from a collection I bought recently. Be sure to check it out, and remember, it's still free! eModelCars
Greg Cullinan Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 Gregg the site is looking good.I have been checking it here and there since I joined this site and this is really an improvement.I look forward to making some purchases.
RodBurNeR Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 I like the changes, way to go! I just wish everyone would drop the other site on the same day and use emodelcars! Scared to list the "good stuff"?...don't be scared, I will buy some! I have a feeling people tend to go the other way because most of us are after the older stuff or resin kits etc... Seller's worry they won't get enough money for their stuff....if ya have it there, it will sell for what it's worth! Forget about the "dreamers"....guys selling the same kit month after month for 500bucks....it's not going to sell! Other than those kits, what is REALLY high priced on the daily? Not much guys....let's get everyone to EMODELCARS so we can spend less to make more....or make more to spend less and errrr... hey it's FREE!!!! Pay to make money?.... hmm Make money without paying?....I just don't know what sounds better? (I know I am hypocritcal, I rarely sell on either site) but I would if people would do the same and make the switch! Thanks Gregg!
crispy Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 Gregg, I'm a huge proponent of your site. I love using it and have been successful using it as well. The upgrades look great. The site looks clean and up to date. A few niggles I ran across and I know you are working on them. Not receiving any emails at all. Paid for a featured listing that still isn't showing up. I'm sure once you get through the updates things will get back to normal. These are the only two things I can see right now. Thanks for sparing some time on the site. I was very happy to see the site is now at 806 registered users. Approximately 190 items on sale. Chris
LOBBS Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 Once I get a chance to break these down into more manageable lots, they'll be headed there. Parts lots don't really have a category so would they be better off in PE, decals, etc. or the anything else area?
PatRedmond Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 I like the new features and layout. Made 3 purchases over the past month.
Guest Johnny Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 Didn't know that was your site Gregg! I originally found it looking for the old JoHan site!
Gregg Posted April 2, 2010 Author Posted April 2, 2010 If you are having problems not getting emails from eModelCars, please add admin@emodelcars.com to your safe or white list for your email program/Spam blocker. You should get an email like this: Let me know if any questions or problems. I am populating the site as I can today.
crispy Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 Gregg, everything is working for me now. Thanks for the nice clean updates. The site looks very good. Chris
Gregg Posted April 3, 2010 Author Posted April 3, 2010 It's so nice and clean and simple And I can even post using Safari without having to switch to Firefox. And the templates are great. If you see any categories that should be added, or changed, let me know. And I was just ready to dump thousands into this site for new software/programing. Did anyone do a final sale yet through PayPal? I want to see if that redirect works.
