mcandela Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 Been away for a while. My first resin project. (Fisher Models) Arizona here we come.
droogie Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 Nice. I'm working on a Fisher kit now myself. I hope mine turns out as well as yours did.
Crazy Ed Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 Mike VERY nice job on that 2E. That is my All Time Favorite Car. Ed
MonoPed Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 Nice! Those Fisher kits are fun, gonna have to build another one, sometime...
Jon Cole Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 Nice Chaparral 2E, be sure to post more pics when it is finished!
2lapsdown Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 I've been toying with the idea of getting that kit. Any insights or tips on the build up? Yours looks great!
simonr Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 Hey, a really nice build Mike,...something different. Keep us updated on how this model is turning out. Simón P. Rivera Torres
ScaleCentral Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 That looks great! I love Fisher's kits. For those that are thinking about getting this kit, by all means do. The only thing really required is some decent PE skills due to the grills on the back. Also, be advised that Paul is out of the blue arrow at the front of the windshield area. He provides templates for a mask though and it's not that hard to do. All of his kits are awesome to build. Nic
mcandela Posted April 5, 2010 Author Posted April 5, 2010 I've been toying with the idea of getting that kit. Any insights or tips on the build up? Yours looks great! Just have a lot of patience, a lot of 5 minute epoxy, gorilla super glue. It's hard to get good reference pics. Instruction sheet could of been a lot better, (photocopies, black & white ilustrations) I have about 20 great pics of the real chaparral, If You need them just send me a pm. Mike.
Dragline Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 GREAT looking build there. I think I had a toy of this as a kid... Bob

Nic Not to mention his service, which in my case was top notch in dealing with an issue I created (uh, I screwed up... ).
