Scott S
Thats funny, cause i just started working on it today, i got so wrapped up in project 53 and the vintage 359/fruehauf builds i just kinda put it on the back burner.(just to many i wanna build and no time) i'll have some pic's next weekend. i'm working on the frame and getting the cab and dump bed to line up and look right, then i'll build the suspension and drive line from there. i think its gonna be neat when its done. Thanks for looking, Scott

Mark R
Lookin' good so far. The driver might need a step ladder to climb into that thing Seriosly though I like it !!

Scott S
Testors makes a "rubber" paint, kind of a brownish black, seems to decent job. makes um look like weathered rubber. Scott
Jim B
Many people use Tamiya NATO Black.

Scott S
Well after a near disaster i got back to a little work on the "C" ( i knocked the cab off a shelf and it broke into about 10 pc's, its an older MTFA casting and was very fragile.) lowered the cab on the frame and moved it back, dropped the head board height, and gotthe whole truck down a bit. now it sits much better. got plow frame mounted also little by little its getting there... Scott S
Couple more pic's.. was a little skeptical it was'nt gonna look right, now with the plow rig mounted and cab and bed sitting in better position, i'm feeling btr about it. on to the mtr/trans, then finish cab work and choose a color. was thinking orange and black..Ideas anybody? thanks Scott Edited September 20, 2010 by Scott S
Kostas Parchas
Scott, If you have in mind a workhorse look, then I agree with orange/black combo. But what about a working/custom/show truck painted in metalic color(s) showing the condition of the truck after a heavy general restoration? thats from me Kostas. Scott S
Got some paint on er to see if i like it, trying orange w/silver metalic chassis. think i like it, cab still needs more bodywork but it's starting to look pretty gud if i my say so..lol Kostas, thanks for the idea, i kinda mixed the two..
