Hey People!

I have the Revell/Monogram GTX 1/24 scale kit, in the old stash and I want to covert it into a Road Runner.

So, does anyone know if there is such a kit and who sells it?

Next, I would like to have white strobe stripes on it with all the little extra decals too, so, again, does anyone make these and who sells it?

Thank You all for your time and consideration.

Keep on building Dudes!

The Revellogram 71 Plymouth used to be a Road Runner before it mutated into the GTX. So it might be worthwile to search for an original RR kit. It also had the strobe decals included. Then there was the MPC 71 Road Runner in 1/25, including phantom Superbird parts. Also worth checking maybe.

This post might help answer some of your questions:

You'll need to contact Keith Marks for the correct 1/24th scale decals featuring the cartoon Roadrunner.

It's easier to start with the Satellite grille than the GTX grille (and ditto for the Satellite body) when making a Road Runner, but if you have both kits on hand, you will have a lot of options. :D

I would actually use the Satellite kit as the base model, instead of the GTX.

You can browse around the Library at www.hamtramck-historical.com for pics, brochures, and info, then decide exactly how you want to "build" your Road Runner. The Satellite and GTX kits each offer different hoods and interiors, and the '70 GTX or '70 Road Runner kits can add in a few more parts to the mix if needed. :D
