I'm in Louisville, and have looked in the past for some clubs, but haven't found any. It seems like there should be some around here somewhere.

You might want to try contacting the Hobby Town in Lexington. I'm from the other way (eastern KY) and go there time to time. They have a customer display case in the back and they say they have people from all over the place stop in. They might have some insight....although, it seems that since models went up to $20-$30 dollars on average, their selection and aftermarket parts have fallen way off.

Try looking up the Louisville Model Car Club. They've been around a long time. They're hosting a show at the Holy Family Gymnasium tomorrow.
