You forgot to finish Harry, keep reading I answered that.

Would this be allowed "over there"? Of course not...could be why the members there keep dropping....I do not see that as much here???

Mike, I see your point. This forum is a lot more user friendly, and I support that idea 100%.

I got a little cranky... it's based on past events that I don't want to rehash here. I'm all better now... ;)

I don't think they ignore SA, and they certainly allow it's mention...but I don't know how smart allowing the competition to advertise on your site would be. You do understand the difference between acknowledgement and endorsement, right? Saying SA is a worthy competitor is acknowledgement, but letting people give a glowing review to the current issue is crossing the line into promoting your competitor. It's pretty clear to me...

Me, too.

Something else ... I think anyone who's ever spent time on the Spotlight Hobbies/Hobby Heaven board can attest to how touchy the host there is about having business interests that compete with his mentioned on that forum.

That's by no means a dis of Tom ... his position has always been, why should he allow bandwidth he's paying for be used to promote his competitors, and the man definitely has a valid point with that.

Thats great gents.....But as a successful businessman (now retired)...I embraced the competition.....Dale Carnegie comes to mind

Please educate me on Dale's thoughts on advertising for your competitors? That sounds fascinating!
