i want to make headers need help....

i remember reading a post about this. now my question will this stuff i have work and what can i use to glue it to the block?. now the label say's this.

lead free

97% tin

3% copper

dia 1/8

3mm

I've never used solder for headers, but 1/8" is 3 inches in scale. That's a bit big for header tubing. Something around 2mm or just under that would be great.

I use solder all the time and it CA's quite nicely, however, I work in 1/18 so I can get away with it!

For header pipes, try .062" solder. The stuff you have would be great for the rest of the undercar exhaust!

yup, look for .062-.063 solid or rosin core solder for making headers for most 1/25 scale engines. do not use anything acid core

1/8" will work nice for making the exhaust pipes

listen to dave....if you drill into the block and then lay out the tubes, a drop of epoxy is all youll need heres a few :

Radio Shack will have the .062" solder, along with some other sizes (plus a bunch of other things that can be used!).
