A few weeks ago I posted a picture of a box full of models that I recently found.

I've finally decided on which one to start rehabbing.

I found a blue Plymouth Duster funny car that seemed to have most of the part still attached, well, at least they were in the box.

I couldn't for the life of me remember what it had been before that ugly blue paint and flame decals were added.

Wow, sorry for the poor picture quality.

Also, the blue tint windows have me a bit stumped. I don't remember 'Snake' having those. Even on the model. But then again, they say memory is the first to go.

I removed the decals, well, most of them anyway, and began sanding the rough spots on the body when suddenly, the original body began to show thru in it's yellow color.

This has to be my old Monogram Don "The Snake" Prudhomme funny car.

So, I will be working to transform this blue beast back into one my favorite car/driver combo's that remind me of years of sitting in the stands at Indianapolis Raceway Park.

And if anyone can help with locating decals I would appreciate it.

I've checked over at Slixx only to come up empty with a search and an internet search doesn't show anything either.

Thanks.

Those decals might be in correct size... But for the model, yes, it's a '70 Plymouth Cuda. This is going to be really interesting, building and restoring old and rare kit. Can't wait to see more. ;)
