spkgibson Posted May 30, 2010 Posted May 30, 2010 Hi Fellow modelers,I would like to know what would be the closest match in Tamiya or Testor's Paints to match the colors of the car,This will be my first Pro stock Build in over 15 years,Any help would be great,I already have the Charger kit and the decals,I am stumped on the right shade of Blue and red! This is the only photo I could find,And to me the car looks Metallic Blue!
caine440 Posted May 30, 2010 Posted May 30, 2010 This site might help. I have used it to match colors to other race cars. http://scalemodeldb.com/paint

I have used it to match colors to other race cars. http://scalemodeldb.com/paint I couldn't find what I was looking for on there,Thank you though!I know someone has built the red white and blue cars,I assume the Blue is the same as is the red! What color did you use one the Sox&Martin Duster,That is the color I'm looking for,I'ts close enough for me!
caine440 Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 I built one last year and I went looking to see what color I used. It was testors enamel I think it was arctic blue metallic. I had most of my paint stolen last year out of my garage so the can is long gone. Now I might go with testor lacquer GTS blue.
