This is probably one of the more pathetic questions posted here but here goes :D

I've run into this before, where I think the plug wires go there is 5 dimples opposed to the 4 I need,

So I'm looking at the dimples below the valve covers and above where the headers go and this is for a 65 Pontiac Grand Prix. Is this the right location and is there an extra dimple?

The headers are 1-2-1,my question is where would the plug wires go?

Where the lower dimples are - drill 2 holes above each one. The headers would be 1-2-1. Right? Like on a 409.

I do think you are right, Jim. I think the middle exhaust ports are siamesed on these, also just like a SB Chevy.

See in your first pic where the two holes are between the front and middle exhaust port humps? I don't know if you already drilled those or if they are just imperfections or what, but they make a nice reference point. Do that in the valleys BETWEEN the exhaust port humps (where the headers attach) on both sides and you'll be fine! :D If you do it on the the top of the exhaust ports, the plug would be in the exhaust pipe, and I don't think the car would run very good!

Thanks, I see in Alyn and Highways pics what you were saying,I got lost when you said drill holes, but that's probably the way to go since gluing such small wires is difficult to me.

Clear as a bell to me - right where I said the wires would go.

Thank you kind sirs, a step in the right direction for me.

I cut a plate off the headers and one came up short though.

Picked up a small collet for my dremel today(had the bits but couldn't get them to fit dremel, so next time I will try drilling out the wires instead of glue.)
