This is a 2007 Montecarlo driven by Jeff Gordon in Talladega in 2007, the race that finish in yellow - Checkered flag. The paint is TAMIYA mika blue, Humbrol Flouresent Red. the decals are from the revell kit and has the photoetched hood pins and seatbeatl. the tire decals are aftermarket. Soon will have the next images

hey my friend! looks great jose! im finally starting to get back into the swing of things with my dale jr. car, i painted the chassis and body today, now gotta let it dry and decal and detail, your gordon car looks great so far!

Hey Ray tank you very much! i will upload the finished model tomorrow for you and for everyone to see it. finally you get back for modeling hope to see photos soon for that dale model with the flat tire. we contacted a hug.

Nice! I love the detail and the paint. I am a die hard Jeff fan and I know what its like to get the flack but I will be a fan for the rest of his career! I will be doing a rookie car soon.

I'm not a real NASCAR fan so I might be missing something here...but what is that wire you have coming out of the thermostat hole on the front of the intake manifold. Isn't that where a radiator hose goes? Or does a NASCAR engine use something else?
