Hi, I would like to know a list of all model makers wheel fittings they use.. (female or male)

So here is a list so far of the WHEEL FITTINGS, (NOT the axel fittings or part on the body which is the opposite ofcourse.)

Aoshima - female

AMT - female

Arii - male

Fujimi - female

Jo-Han - female

Monogram - female

MPC - female

Revell - female

Tamiya - male

*Note, almost all makes produce wheels in both fittings, but this is a list of what they use mostly.

-- if no one has a list or knows a page with them all one, post them and i will update this list and you can then save this page for reference ?

cheers

Tamiya and Fujimi, Aoshima i think too have both male and female wheel fitment. Tamiya seems to have most commonly male fitment, but several of thier kits, mostly the metal axled ones have female fitment. i'm pretty sure that some older Aoshima wheels had male fitment posts too.

Dave, i have seen some Fujimi males also, so i guess this can be a list of the majority used fittings, would you say this is correct so far (as the most used fittings) and do you know any other makes, please add so i can add to the list :)

All AMT and MPC kits had female wheel fittings- either to accept a metal axle or a plastic stub axle. That is, except for the AMT/Ertl Lexus LS 400, which was actually an Aoshima kit in an AMT box. All the Jo-Han kits I've ever built have had female wheel fittings, for use with a plastic axle.
