outlaw035 Posted June 14, 2010 Posted June 14, 2010 i just finished painting my 41 chevy pickup for the JWAC...here is my question...its purple nail polish...i was wondering if anyone has used nail polish clear and if so what were the results and do u have to thin it and how much....thanks...neal
charlzrocks Posted June 14, 2010 Posted June 14, 2010 I only use clear finger nail polish as a "liquid bandage" for the cracked skin on my fingers in the winter time. Although I have never used it as a clear coat, one would think that it could be thinned using nail polish remover. If this would mess up the purple is an unknown for me. Best to test it on scrap first! Good Luck!
