Built from the Monogram kit. I used the engine from a current Nascar kit-SB2 I think. I also used the big aluminum radiator from the same kit. As far as the interior goes I scratch-built the 4pt cage. The front seats are from the Callaway Corvette kit with resin 6x9 speakers in the rear deck. Chassis mods include perimeter frame rails added and exhaust from aluminum tubing and kit mufflers. The paint is Duplicolor Pewter. Wheels are the kit Centerlines that I would change out to something else if they weren't glued on so well. I think the car would look better with dark colored wheels instead. Oh well. Thanks for looking.

i like it

the colour and drivetrain make it look very modern day muscle

one thing to mention though, with that engine and those pipes the rear wheels look way to small

Nice resto mod look! How did you paint the taillights? They are the best I think I've ever seen on one of these kits! By the way, I think the wheels don't look bad with the color combo, but if you would want to darken them, have you thought of maybe some Tamiya Smoke on the inner portion? That would give you a darker charcoal chrome color on the flat inner disc portion with a chrome trim ring and center cap.

I left the kit pieces chrome and painted on a few coats of Tamiya clear red. I like the idea about putting a wash on the wheels to darken them a bit-thanks for that.

Thanks for the info on the taillights, and I'm happy you like my idea for the wheels.
