Here's my completed 32, or so I thought! Looking at the pics I realized I forgot the door handles.

Anyway here she is.

Beautiful job, I love the patina look!!! Of course, you asked for critiques and threats as well as comments. The one thing I find wrong with it is it's NOT MINE!! As for my threat, I threaten you to do a tutorial on how you did the patina paint job! I would LOVE to learn how you did it!

Oh, I almost forgot, a rat rod doesn't need door handles, they fell off years ago!!

That distressed finish even holds up in the closeups!

You should have washed the body during it's lifetime as well as the undercarriage!

My only critique is don't shoot pictures so close. You have definitely set your cam on Macro but because you are so close the depth of focus is too shallow.

If you move back further and take high resolution pics you can zoom in and crop later. Most cameras have a cropping feature if you don't have software for that.

As for the car I LOVE IT! :P

Just the right amount of wear, weathering and dry brushing. Maybe a bit of flat clear shot on the body would help smooth out the mix of gloss and flat weathering paint... but that is just a random thought.

I like it a lot. B)

Thank you all for the comments.

Jarius I will post revised photos later today. You might just see some of the car then.:lol:

I am posting a three part tutorial on the techniques used for the weld beads, paint, and the seat blanket. These seem to be the three most asked questions about the build.

I appreciate the opportunity to share, no secrets here

Ok I broke out the tripod, a white pillow case (don't tell Mrs G) and took some more photos.
