toplessfury Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 i went to hobby lobby and found it on clearance reg price $75 got it for $45.im so happy.this is my first italeri model.
The Modeling Hermit Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 I got one of these about a year or so ago. The only issue that I had with it, was that there are holes that have to be opened from the inside of the fuel tanks to locate the steps. I missed that and had some fun mounting the steps. Italeri has these things to where they almost build themselves.
toplessfury Posted June 24, 2010 Author Posted June 24, 2010 looks to be highly detailed.cant wait to get started on it.
toplessfury Posted June 26, 2010 Author Posted June 26, 2010 ok i couldnt wait so i did some work on this. i shaved everything off the sleeper(smooth) and filled the grooves in. and then i painted it 2 coats red(no clear yet
Jim B Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 That sure is shiney. What red is that? I haven't had much success with red. Why'd you fill in everything on the sleeper?
