I got one of these about a year or so ago. The only issue that I had with it, was that there are holes that have to be opened from the inside of the fuel tanks to locate the steps. I missed that and had some fun mounting the steps. Italeri has these things to where they almost build themselves.

ok i couldnt wait so i did some work on this.DSC03347.jpg

i shaved everything off the sleeper(smooth) and filled the grooves in. DSC03352.jpgDSC03353.jpg

That sure is shiney. What red is that? I haven't had much success with red. Why'd you fill in everything on the sleeper?

thanks it is rustoleum regal red.as far as the sleeper i did it because i couldnt get to the glue seams to sand them so i did away with it all.

That red is nice! Are you going to leave the doors on the sleeper filled, too? Or will you rescribe them?

im just going to leave them smooth.i afraid to put any clear on it. i dont want to take a chance on messing it up.
