Will the cab,and power train from the SD Freightliner fit on the DD Freightliner chassis w/out alot of modifications?

a virtual bolt in.the engine/trans are the same,infact almost every frame part is the same one.battery boxes,one exhaust part, and rear spring/diff are unique to each one.

I might be wrong, but since the DD cab is molded in three pieces, couldn't you just leave the middle section out of it to make a day cab?
