Good job. I like both your C5 & C6. If you do another car from either generation remember that the four flat panels on the chassis are gray.

There must have been a clearance issue. I usually leave the hoods up on my builds, so I never noticed it untill I took these pics!

Lee, what color is that, if you can remember? I have one that I painted the same (or darn close) color back when those first hit the shelves, but somehow in the process, forgot to paint the hood! You did a nice job, maybe I just might have to bring mine back out and finish it.

If I remember correctly, it was Testors Red spray, just the regular red.

Thanks for jogging my memory, Lee. I think that might be what mine was, too. Now maybe I can paint my hood, it looks really funny red with a white hood! :lol:

I've got a few C5s I need to build, and this is definitely inspiring me. I need to build a coupe to match my 2000, but I can't find the thin-spokes anywhere.

Nice job Lee, my only question is whats going on with the hood?

i think its warped or the hinges are bad.

when i rebuilt one i took the hinges off the hood and it was fine
