Scalper Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 I think this is the first Orange Impala that i have ever seen . nice build
Modelsbyroni Posted June 29, 2010 Author Posted June 29, 2010 THANKS SCALPER. STARTED AS A TEST BODY A FEW YAERS AGO AND I FINALLY DECIDED TO FINISH IT. TRUST ME, ITS BRIGHT.
highway Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 That is a nice build. Is the orange just the old run of the mill Testor orange? The new Camaro wheels look great on it, nice restomod look. I did notice, though, you might want to swap the sides the tires are on. It looked to me like the tread pattern is running oppisite of the way it should. I might be wrong, but I always thought the point of the "V" in the tread pattern was supposed to face the way the tire would rotate driving forward.
Greg Cullinan Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 (edited) Orange you glad you finished her? sorry couldn't resist Excellent build and love the wheels on there. THANKS SCALPER. THX FOR THE CORRECTION. Very bright Orange I like it... Noticed that it does not have the exhaust tips YEP. THE KIT TIPS WONT STAY ON. GONNA DO SOME OUTTA ALUMINUN. GOOD EYE.
highway Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 I THUOGHT THEY WENT THE OTHER WAY. THX FOR THE CORRECTION. No problem. That's the biggest thing I hate with the no name tires in kits nowadays, back when they still had sidewall markings, they had the little rotation arrows on the unidirectional tires. You could always look at the sidewall to see which way the tire was supposed to be mounted.
vizio93 Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 Looks good man, I like the wheels and the interior.
Modelsbyroni Posted June 29, 2010 Author Posted June 29, 2010 ALMOST FORGOT. HIGHWAY, ITS REGULAR TESTORS IN THE 1/4 OZ JARS.
