Robyn Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 How many kits were in this series? I can think of 5 - Ramcharger, GMC pickup, Ranger F150, Camaro 4x4 and the Chevelle 4x4 - were there any others? Have any of these been reissued? Were the raised suspensions and Ground Hawg tires the only parts that made them High Rollers? These were the first kits I build as a boy with my dad and I am trying to find them all with out spending a fortune. Thanks for any insight you may provide, Robyn
bigphoto Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 Hey Robyn, I believe they were the only kits of the High Roller series and they were modified tools of existing kits as the F150 could be brought down to stock ht. essentially by cutting the front coils and rear spring perches or using the suspension from the Monogram 1/24 Bronco! kod38 Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 The chevelle I have never seen. I see the rest of them all the time. Arrowhead aluminum sells ground hawg tires that are corrected. The mad Mudder revell blazer has a lift you could use on any monogram gmc. There are alot of better looking wheels and tires now in the aftermarket. I would suggest doing your own lifts on any kit you like? The high roller lifts were essentially just huge shackle lifts with little to no spring arch. The ford has the coolest wheels I think. Monogram/Revell made those body vehicles in many platforms so you could replicate your childhood builds one way or another? Good luck. Doug R
