  1. I bought a 1971 GTO rebuilder at a show and it was supposed to have the stock parts in a bag. I did not check thoroughly and the front seats are from the 72 GTO and the seat pattern does not match. If the seats from the 70 GTO are the same that would be helpful as well, don't care about color just seat pattern. If you have a set let me know and we can work out something or if you know of someone who makes a resin set. Thanks, Robyn
  2. Thank you Jonathan, it was a great trade on both sides. Take care! Robyn
  3. I think my rarest is the Hobby Design SLR 722 GT conversion, have only seen those a couple of times. I like most of their stuff and usually will buy the transkit to go with a kit as soon as it is available. I did a big clean out and sell last year during Covid and sold a bunch of rare resins and plastic, that is what is funding the Alpha kits as you know they are not cheap, that I would have loved to build but decided I would never get to them and got the stash down to around 500 kits in both resin and plastic. I am now at the age where I have said screw it and am going to start building what I have and only buy what really intrigues me, this past year it has been the Alpha kits and the Tamiya Mercedes GT3 and Mustang GT4. Robyn
  4. I love the kit as well, I have all of the Ferrari, Lamborghini and McClaren kits Alpha has produced as well as several of the Hobby Design kits prior to Alpha - working on the MP4-12C street car now. I am not a rivet counter by any means but all of their kits look spot on to me and like you the hardest part in deciding what color scheme to do them in. Robyn
  5. I just checked my P1 kit and it has the same blemish in the PE, looking at the pictures it appears that maybe part R50 are either over or under the blemish...like you I still have further research to do as I just received mine this week as well. Robyn
  6. You can also look for Fred Cady decals sheets 286, 287 & 288 (among many others) for the 70/71 Hemi 'Cuda - there is a shaker decal on those sheets. Robyn
  7. If Mike has invested you would expect that he would have an allotment - one could not sell all of the kits or there is no point in the others investing. Robyn
  8. Have to remember how fast technology changes, these were state of the art when introduced. My wife is currently working on transferring old videos to mp4 files and she is working on our honeymoon, we bought a new camcorder, state of the art Sony - 2.8 megapixels!! This was in 2006 and according to the info above this transkit was released in 2003. Robyn
  9. No problem, we cannot know everything. Hope you find what you are looking for. Robyn
  10. It is my understanding that Kenny is having some health issues and is not currently doing anything with casting and is considering selling his primary business due to his health. You may want to post what you are looking for in the wanted section, you never know someone may have it and willing to part with it. Robyn
  11. This is a car I have loved for a while and very glad to see it coming out. I will be building at least 3 - one a test run and the other two will be all blue carbon and one of the Marlboro anniversary/tribute paint schemes. Finally something positive for 2020!! Robyn
  12. Had a trade with mikemodeler af few weeks ago, great trade and very fair deal, Thanks again Mike, Robyn
  13. Scott - thanks for the kind words and I would gladly trade with you anytime as well - thanks for an awesome trade!! Robyn
  14. There is another request here in the resin section similar to yours, do a search for Hellcat and you should find it. I have put pictures there of the conversion Clearly Resin was doing and you can also find the story on his health status on that thread I think. The conversion is no longer produced and chances are not great that it will ever be produced again Robyn
  15. Sorry for bringing up an older topic but I was going through the stash today and saw this and thought I would post the pictures of the finished kit Jeremy (Clearly Scale) completed. I was fortunate to get two complete kits and it took a very long time to get, almost a year from payment to in my hands and this was before he was truely sick. I will say that he did email and call on several ocassions to keep me updated on the progress and I want to think he said there were only roughly 15 complete sets made and something happened to the mold. Robyn
  16. I am not going to comment on the plate but keep in mind that there are a lot of people who will do a vinyl wrap of a car because the think it looks cool and various forms of camo are very popular. If you follow any of the exotic car Youtubers - Daily Driven Exotics, Savage, Stradman, etc. and look at their older videos you will see some of the old camo wraps they used on their Lamborghini's. Stradman now has a new Supra that is factory black that he wrapped satin red shortly after purchase. Robyn
  17. I have two of the complete Hellcat conversions that Clearly Scale did and they are top notch - I hope Jeremy can get his health issues taken care of and then if he choses get back into casting. Robyn
  18. Here is my build of the original version - I combined the Pro Modeler kit with the Polar Lights Torino for the full roll cage, air cleaner housing, wheels and tires and used a resin "bathtub" intake. I was happily surprised by how easily the Torino parts fit. The kit does not build a NASCAR version at all, maybe for a shelf version but that is it. I am not sure exactly when I built it but these photos were uploaded in 2003. Robyn
  19. I ordered both the Chiron and the Vision Gran Turismo from Hiroboy with Royal Air Mail Registered and signed for and the total was $330 USD. I preordered as soon as they were available and the price was $155USD each. I would rather order from a reseller than direct as I have had some issues with HD in the past and never could get any response from them, manufacturer, while when I had an issue with a HD conversion on two separate occasions two different resellers got it fixed or in one case refunded my money and told me to keep the kit (it was missing the wheel centers and another set was very similar so I ordered those). Robyn
  20. This has been a grail of mine since I was a kid, I saw it and the Reher Morrison kit and bought the R&M and when I got my allowance went into the store only to see someone buying the Iaconio Camaro and never saw another. I also have not seen it at shows, I know it comes up on Ebay but never wanted to pay the price. I would love to see it issued just to fulfill that need from childhood. Also, wasn't there some issue with the reissue, something about the body was modified or something like that? Seems to me that it had something to do with the LAPD Camaro Pro Mod. Robyn
  21. Hi all, I recently bought this conversion thinking I had a Mk I but turns out I have a MkII (black box art car). Can someone tell me which kit is this is supposed to work with, box art or kit number would be great as everything I see is listed anywhere is the MKII. Thank you, Robyn Borrowed from the internet pictures:
  22. He actually called me last night to give me an update on my order, very surprised and took a few minutes to process who he was and what he was calling about. According to him he is still having hosting issues with both his website and email and was relying on PayPal to contact those with outstanding orders, he was hoping to have the issues fixed in the next week or so. Seems like a nice enough guy who has gotten caught up in some internet issues and unexpected volume of orders. Robyn
  23. I have one of these MPB kits and a couple of their 70 grills, no rear spoiler though, not bad for the times and have a half finished conversion that I will get around to finishing someday. The one I have has a full rear tail panel section instead of just the taillights. I think I know where it and will get it out and take a few pictures as well. Robyn
  24. I would think you could also use a photoetch sawblade, like anything slow and easy is the way to go. Robyn
