This is the mustang iv been wanting to reveal for a while now and i finally got the new body. obviously its got differences, but i still hope to fit a turbo in the engine bay somwhere like the original mclaren mustang, so the original mustang engine is not going in this...its going in a mini, anyway there are a few things i need to get or try and find (resin front lip, 1/4 window louvers, GT-H hood, aftermarket spoiler, intercooler, turbo (hopefully from shucky) and some mclaren decals), half of the stuff i can get eaisily its just some is harder to get. This should be a medium rate build as its got abit of fabrication to do and because my right hand has just got back to "normal" so i guess we will all see how it goes.

Thanks man, i just need money to get this stuff now.

Here is the rough design iv done for the car, i was originally going to do the two tone like the original car but times have changed.

thanks for the comments guys, i was thinking of sticking a v6 in instead of the v10 so i could fit a big turbo in but im not sure yet.

Dec, funny you should say that! I was thinking of scratch building an entire engine, probably a V6 (think Ecoboost) and using it in a 70 Boss Mustang along with twin turbo's. It will be an extreme pro touring type build. Great minds thing alike no? ;) After constructed, I was going to resin cast the engine and offer it. Dont wait on me though, the engine will probably take a couple months to scratch but funny you and I were thinking the same thing for a Mustang build. I'll be posting a WIP thread soon as this project takes shape. Good luck with yours!

Haha, i guess great minds do think alike, i wanted to get one of your big turbos for this car but i don't know if you have started to sell them yet, the pics iv seen of them though look great, a proper turbo unlike the ones you get with model kits.

Iv already started on the engine, im altering some big block v8 cam covers right now to fit the v6, they should look much better once complete, my main goal though is to graft a different tranny onto the engine. Im looking forward to see your scratch built engine.

Alright so its just more mocking up until i get some primer, paint, resin parts ect but none of that can be done without money.

Im going to stick with the v10 over the v6, its perfectly lined up in the engine bay but the interior hub is slightly off center, as you can see the right side pertrudes in more so the strutbrace won't line up properly, i might have to try get another hub for it but this one will do for now. I

I know this is a detail but for the dials i used a decal from the gt500 decal sheet just because it has more dials on the decal.

I tried different seats for it but some wouldn't fit. Iv chosen this seat because it lines up with the steering wheel better then the stock seat, the only thing i don't like is the moulded seat braces, they should sand off pretty easily. Still alot of modification to go, think this thing would be road legal? haha heres pics as it stands now.
