ok i got my paint scheme figured out and here it is. needs a little touch up yet DSC03561-1.jpg

That looks really good! I was wondering what you'd do for colors. I like it. Looks like a real late '70s emergency vehicle, that's for sure.

I like the direction your going with on the colors but before I saw the cracks in the second pic I thought the paint looked really thick on the roof. What did you use? I wonder why it cracked that bad. The build itself is awesome. Remember before stripping if you do so that the purple pond will remove body filler. If you have any on the roof I'd suggest sanding it. The style looks great.

ive got a little putty on the doors but thats it.when i first painted the black i thought a hair was on it but when i came back......well you saw the pic.im leaving it alone for a bit then ill sand and see what needs to be done.

thanks guys.that just reminded me to get it out of the pond :) its been 2 years since i had a job due to knee surgery and my leg is killing me,but gotta work.

well its out of the pond and am going to try the paint again.im going to do it a little different this time but still basically the same.should have it painted tomorrow if it doesnt rain.

ok i got the yellow done but im not sure if i like it .i may repaint the hood black but then again i may go back to just a black roof. DSC03571.jpg

ok guys i got some work done today.body,radiator and grill are glued on.just have to finish my wiring and put some posts and cables on the battery.i also have to fab up a front bumper. DSC03578.jpgDSC03580.jpg
