rick6343
I just saw an online article about other uses for those silica gel desiccant packets that you find in new shoes, electronic equipment boxes, and other places. Since they absorb moisture, I wondered if anyone had put some in with their decals to help protect them? Were you successful? Thanks, Rick
george 53
Rick, I keep my decals inna zip lock gallon freezer bag, with two of those little barrels of dessicant in them. I've done this for YEARS an my decals are still in GREAT shape! I DON'T use the little pillow type, so I DON'T know it they'll mess with the decals themselves. I'm afraid that the pillows TOUCHING the decals can transmit moisture thru the wrapping onto the decals, hence my useing the little barrels. BUT they DO work!!!!
