george 53 Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 Scott, Brother ya found the RIGHT place to ask questions! These guys honestly DO know it all! Just ask. We do have a truck section, down near the bottom of the index page. We also got Tim Ahlborn, who lives eats and sleeps trucks! If HE can't answer a truck question, there ain't one!!!Welcome to the forum!!!
Madd Trucker Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 Welcome to the Forum . There is a lot of good builder here .To answere your question on the grain trailer. There was to have been an artial done in Model Cars by Guenter Boenisch but I dont think it ever came about that was back in 2003 .It was to be a follow up on correcting the 48 foot box trailer
The Modeling Hermit Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 Welcome. George is right. This is a great place for inspiration and to gain knowledge.
cowboysevens Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 hello leroy and welcome to the forum, you came to the right place if your biulding model semi trucks. and to answer the question about grain trailers, yes i have seen a few of them biult. the easiest way i think is to take a dry box van and cut it down, then make your hoops and tarp system for the top. good luck and keep us posted please dennis
