I have tryed them realy don't work that well!is there any others or will I have to go with Brass rod and round tubeing.?

these hinges work great. they are very picky to work with but create a very realistic and well working hinge. after you get the hang of bending them properly you will love them. you might not have any hair left once you reach this point though :D:D

If you have someplace near you that sells doll house materials, get some doll house piano hinges. They are preassembled (at least the ones I've seen) and are just the right size for truck hinges. You might have to shorten the length some depending on the height of the truck's door, though.

If you need hinges and don't know how to make some or can find any. I make them for people, well I loose to sell them on eBay until the PayPal Hold Policy was efforced on people that was using eBay. I'm not no longer on there but on forums now though trying to help out.
