showbuilder Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 I have tryed them realy don't work that well!is there any others or will I have to go with Brass rod and round tubeing.? these hinges work great. they are very picky to work with but create a very realistic and well working hinge. after you get the hang of bending them properly you will love them. you might not have any hair left once you reach this point though

highway Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 If you have someplace near you that sells doll house materials, get some doll house piano hinges. They are preassembled (at least the ones I've seen) and are just the right size for truck hinges. You might have to shorten the length some depending on the height of the truck's door, though.
highway Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 Try these then: Nelson Hobby Yep, those are the ones I was talking about, thanks for the pic and link, Chucky.
