Guest Johnny Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 I feel your pain, brother! Be that as it may, this is still the coolest Revell '70's van model I've ever seen. A real time warp! Without a doubt Chuck!
Eshaver Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 Look closely at the drink holder kids ......... That is the drink holder my company was manufacturing a zillion of back in 1975. The first ones were made out of Birch Veneer plywood. When I couldn't get stores to eat the high cost of decent wood , we went to M D F and Plastic laminates . I still have the patterns too. Artforms Design was sold to an outfit in Arlington Texas in 1982 but they didn't buy all of the patterns . Nice job on the van , you need to get some serious vanners like my self together and we'll have a good ole truck in . Ed Shaver, once known as scrubba
bsoder Posted August 31, 2010 Author Posted August 31, 2010 I'm glad that this got brought back up!...I thought a few of you guys missed this (like Ed ) who I thought would "dig" this flash to the good ol days
Wolf75 Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 This is the kind of van my father would have wished for when he was young.

Most of the ornate wood work was made from pieces we bought from a local place that built custom staircases! Mostly blemished pieces but in our applications no one really noticed!
Raul_Perez Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 Too cool, Brian!! I remember Sunnyvale Dodge back in the 70s had about 20 of these things, each with a different paint job, sitting on the lot. They were too cool!! The problem with them was if they got scratched or hit...the insurance companies would only pay to respray two of the body colors. No one could afford to get them fixed right... Later,
