Van Halen Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 Hey guys, I havent posted in a while been very busy making a few builds all great, im now working on a Revell 1969/70 Mustang GT500. The kit does not come with Louvers and so i want to make some, they look quite simple to build but how abouts should i make them ? Thanks
Jon Cole Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 Aluminum or brass sheet stock (which, I admit, I have no experience working with) That can be purchased at any good hobby shop. Look for the K&S Metal display. I would first start my making a thin cardboard mockup, so you can cut the exact size strips, and learn where to make the bends. Better yet, I suspect that louver is available in another Mustang, if such is the case, someone here will speak up I am sure.
Danno Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 Huh? Oh, whoops! I thought this thread was for Mustang Lovers. Sorry for the interruption. Carry on.
randx0 Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 I tried to make some out of plastic ,metal and modified kit parts . I had no luck and never felt like I made any headway so I haven't any idea how to make them but I know how not to make them .sorry this isn't very helpful I just thought you should know it has been tried .
