Monte's Motors Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 (edited) To start this project out you will need to made a trip to the hardware store. I picked up a 3/4" thin wall plastic water pipe that was 6' long for only a $1. Then using a hacksaw or whatever cutoff device you choose, cut a length of pipe 1 1/2" plus 1/16" for smoothing the edges. You also need Evergreen strips, .040 half round and Super glue. I beleive the Evergreen strips were under $5 and one package will do 4 to 5 barrels. Dave helps out showing how to put the strips around the edge. Use a marker and mark around the barrels to put on the 2 center strips. The measurement for the 2 center strips is 1/2" from each end. Now you can see the completed strips. Smooth glue as desired. Paint the color of choice. I picked Sublime Green. Edited August 15, 2010 by Monte's Motors
