K&R white metal kits

I'd really like a 1/24 Jaguar XJ13 race prototype, and it looks like the only option is a K&R white metal kit. Has anyone got any experience of this manufacturer in terms of accuracy, fit, buildability etc? The white metal itself doesn't scare me... at least no more than a full resin kit!

If memory serves me well,they are a good outfit. 90% of all white metal kits in England came out of either SMTS or Western Models and both did very competent work. I think you will like the kit.

I have 3 K&r kits and they are nice. I have not built them yet, and even though they are expensive, they are nice. My friend bought the XJ 13 and it's a nice kit.
