I was more than hesitant at posting this as these images aren’t that great (will update over the weekend)and shiny looking builds aren’t my specialty…well not that anything is really! But,with this car I had to give it a shot! The body IMO looked great right out of the box very little prep work need to be done. The rear wheels are another story as are a few of the parts and too many chrome parts (again IMO).

Careful what you wish for… The deeper I got, more the minor problems started popping up. Some pieces just don’t fit right and honestly my enthusiasm is about out the window on this build so I just didn’t have it in me to start fabricating or altering parts. Now that said, this is the first funny car I’ve built so these little things may be common. So, I dug out a few great old albums, said F it and move forward, the last thing I’m going to do is let a box of plastic get me down! LOL

Imagine my disappointment when I realized the decals weren’t quite opaque enough to cover my paint lines.

The only white decals I trust to be opaque enough are Cartograf. Anything else gets doubled-up or masked to the edge. Maybe someone out there who's going to use different decals will part with theirs and you can double-up.

Looks pretty good. Only bad thing is the dist. goes on the front, at an angle in front of the RF valve cover. <_<

Ha! I wondered about that too, but according to the instructions... Then after doing some research I found the SP wires ran across the front. Next time!!

Thats a great idea. I would be willing to trade if anyone could help out.

No problem. I figured you did not know, but never thought they screwed up the instructions. Only the old 392 type Hemi's will have it in the rear of the block like that. The 64 and up 426 has it in the front at an angle just like the 383 through 440 big block engines.
