Wish it was a cat, I still may buy one for it before it's done, but that's the cool thing about models you can do what you want! I strecthed the frame with other frame pieces, I would like to find some of that evergreen stuff, I read Tim talking about it alot but about the only hobby store around here is Hobby Lobby and they don't seem to have things like that.

Dave, funny you sent that when I seen that truck on there a couple of weeks ago, it finally helped me decide what colors to go with on mine, looks nice and clean! Is that a relist? Last I seen on E-bay I think it was up to 86,000. Would be a super nice ride to have though!

Finally got a few more things done this weekend, getting the visor just about done and worked on the deck plate and rear light bar. Feels good to have some color on this thing now!! Hope you all like it so far. :D

Hey Jerry, got any Model Railroader hobby shops nearby....they usually stock both Evergreen and Plastruct pieces......BTW plastruct is real styrene....not sure what evergreen is, but it is softer material. Oh and Micro-Mark sells all kinds of shapes and sheets mail-order.

Chris, thank you your Pete is looking very good! Looks like they will almost be a match set when finished. I really like the look. I made a bumper similar to yours last night out of the alluminum I used for the deck plate. What did you use for your elbows? I am thinking of turning down alluminum on a lathe and then bending it. The thing is getting kind of heavy though! Again nice work and can't wait to see yours done.

Hi there,

Jerry for the elbows I used evergreen tube and cutted it in small pieces with 15 degree....the whole pipes where glued together from 17 pieces and then sanded and filled to get it smooth...I tried to heat the tube and get it round but it doesen´t work fine.

Thanks for the compliments for my truck.....

This is a great build. Should be really nice once it's all done.

I saw this once, and have never seen it again, but does anyone know where I can get an extended hood for the Revell Snap Pete 359?
