highway Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 well what ever parts are chrome that youi dont want, just soke them in super clean it peels the chrome right off dennis Dawn Power Dissolver works great on removing chrome, too. The parts in front of the bottle were done in about 4 hours. You can find it in the dishwishing liquid section of your favorite store. This bottle was $2.66 at Walmart.
MICHAEL COLE Posted September 19, 2010 Author Posted September 19, 2010 I will give the dawn a try, thanks for the imfo. the link to tims build of the 123 was cool, its great to have this kit back. wonder what round 2 will reissue next year? if i could pick two kits,i would want the transtar daycab and the ertl great dane reefer trailer.
SpreadAxle Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 Also, if you're looking for something good to take off chrome, try Westley's Bleche White. It's a whitewall tire soap. Takes off the chrome nicely.
