Toyota Crown (Vlene)

This is the Vlene edition of the Toyota Crown from my Aoshima Super VIP kit collection.

I added Testors gloss clearcoat, my style, looks and my polishing kit. I enjoyed building

this kit as this is a great looking Toyota Crown.

looks good - did you put bare metal foil on the wheels arches? that looks like a pain! The wheels are sticking out a bit too far for my tastes; I prefer tucked & a bit lower, but It still looks good. Are those the Wheels / tires that come in the kit? Also - is that grille a photo-etch piece?

Yes, I did put bare metal foil on the arches and it was a pain.

Wheel/Tire combo did come in the kit, they are the BBS wheels, Pirelli P 7000.

The grille is not photoetched, it is a chromed piece. I painted the center flat black.
