I'm just curious if there are any kits or aftermarket sources for passenger car and light truck diesel engines. I'm planning to do a couple of diesel rat rod models, but all I can find are the big-rig diesels. Anything from a 4-cylinder turbo to a 7.3 Powerstroke would work!

There are not any that I have found, Chuck. I've seen a few scratchbuilt, but as for any resin offerings, there are none. I myself would like to see some offered, as one of my projects, my build of my 1:1 1990 Ford F350 is on hold because of the lack of a 7.3 Liter non turbo engine, but even a Powerstroke would be better than nothing.

ARE YOU RESIN GUYS READING THIS??? WILL SOMEONE PLEASE COVER THIS GAP IN OUR HOBBY !?!?;):D

I'm sure that just like in "Field of Dreams", if you make it, they will come!

How about an IH DT466, a DT530, a MV8 gas(404,446,478,549), and a couple different versions of the 6.9-7.3-T444E......keep watching.....:);)

I have drawings of a Cummins also, but the IH's come first!

You can count on a couple of the 6.9/7.3 liters from me! My Ford's will thank you! :)

Hmmmmm.... didn't see a SD 33 or SD 33T on your list there, Dave! B) Well, looks like I'll have to do it! Right after I scratchbuild a VW Rabbit diesel mill...
