jimnohio Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 (edited) I had some pics and emails from folks here that were lost in a very unfortunate computer mishap (as in it crashed). We thought we had the puter fixed, but.... I was planning to start a MOM on our modelers page, and was all set to use a certain custom found here. I am old enough that I forget stuff...and well, I forget who's car that was. Hopefully you know who you are :-0, please contact me. Also...I had a few new modelers to add, but again...lost. If you would allow us to use your model pics at jimnohio, please leave me a message here or go to our "modelers" page and email from there. I would like to extend thanks to all who have allowed their pics/models to this point. The pic atop our pages really adds some pizzazz and hopefully some inspiration to fellow builders. Thanks. Tony T Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 Sorry to hear about your computer crashing, Jim. Always inconvenient when that happens. I hope you can get back all you lost. I know you've used some of my pictures in my Photobucket album on your site, which I am glad for!
Harold Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 (edited) The magic word is 'backup'. Always have duplicates of things you want to save. I have stuff stored not only on my computer, but on my flash drives (1G, 8G and 16G) and on my external hard drive (320G). I actually learned this three years ago from my old computer running off the road where it flipped, crashed and burst into flames . I also had a malfunction with my PS2 memory card three years back. I was 30% of the way into GT4 when it freaked out, leaving me to start from scratch. I'm now 94% through it, and I also have two backup memory cards (GT5 will be out in November - yeeha).
