I am looking for wheels like these:

I know Revell has something similar in the Gene Snow "Snowman" Vega, Don "The Snake" Prudhomme's ARMY, and the Blue Max funny car kits, but the wheels and tires in them appear out of scale and are very unconvincing IMO. I`ve been unsuccessful in finding these in the aftermarket. Any ideas?

Thanks guys!

Hondo,

Those rear wheels are very close to what I am looking for. I think I may give them a try. They are much better then the ones in the kits I mentioned from the looks of t.

the old Monogram flip-front Chevelle, the black one that's been re-issued to death also has a set of front and rear Super Tricks but they are 1/24 scale. they do fit the Monogram pro stock and top fuel funny car Goodyears though.

Is this the kit you are talking about:

Sorry for my ignorance on the subject guys. I was just recently inspired to build some of the old funny cars.

Thanks again guys! Those were exactly what I was looking for. Now to get the `66 Chevelle kit somehow.

DoubleD...you mentioned those wheels were in different kits with different offsets. Do you happen to remember any other kits that they were in?

Thanks.

Thanks everyone for all the great information! I am now piecing everything together, and it looks as tough my project will be complete with all the correct parts. :D;)

Reliable, I sent you an email.

Thanks
