Custom Mike Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 Gorgeous color and killer rims, this should be sweet!
Tonioseven Posted September 27, 2010 Author Posted September 27, 2010 OH YEAH!!!!!!!!! Are you gonna run a 409 in it?? Either that or a blown 396. I like it!!! Thanks!
Ryan S. Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 Either that or a blown 396. Thanks! How about a blown 409? Just a thought. This is looking good. I love the 62's with the bubble top. You picked a nice color. Keep it going!
Hoosierfarmboy Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 (edited) That is a unique color. I like it! Noticed some different shades in nail polish. I use a clear for attaching license plates, coating light lenses etc. Will evenyually use some of the colored for a paint job. brett Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 Thats a killer looking stance you've got going on there, wasnt tom sure about the colour at first but the more I look the more I like. Will be watching this one.
BHarrison Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 Nice looking project. I like a believable looking model and I can definately see running into one like that at a Goodguys show sometime! Also, anybody with "A Tribe Called Quest" avitar has to be a cool cat.
exesivefire Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 I really like where this is headed, you have a good look going there
crazyjim Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 Hey Antonio - somebody posted a question about using nail polish and then I see your post with a beautiful bubble top Chevy. Looks really good. On many bottles of nail polish and what did you use to thin it?
Tonioseven Posted October 1, 2010 Author Posted October 1, 2010 Thanks guys . I just used one bottle thined with Scalefinishes.com enamel reducer and then shot through an airbrish @ 18psi.
MikeMc Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 I've seen this one up close and the paint is as smooth as glass...I've seen this reducer with the paint and it LOOKS too thin to shoot..but the results speak for themselves!! I'm going to have to try this soon..the color choices are off the wall for kustoms!! Thanks for sharin...go with a blown 409!!
